About Katie

I am the 32 year old mother of a beautiful toddler boy and a precious little newborn girl.  While I wasn’t sure if two children under the age of 2 would kill me, we’re managing just fine.  We get into a lot of trouble but it’s usually quite funny, or at the very least makes for a good story.  The monkeys and I live in Baltimore with the monkey-daddy, Jeff and our neurotic dog Molly.

Katie … just found your blog by way of Emily Browder’s blog … another small world connection is that I am a friend of Laura Cotton. I live here in Baltimore and have just begun blogging as I am now a first-time grandmother and am the childcare provider for my daughter. Kimberly had Simon 1-22-09 and returned to work full-time on 4-16-09. Love your blog and would like to be a “follower” but I could not find a link to do so. Help! Also visit my blog to meet Simon …

Hi Katie – I decided to check out your blog as I saw it on FB and was simply curious. Glad I did. You are a brilliant writer. You seriously need to publish your work. I do not have children, but did not want to stop reading. Virginia

hey katie–these are pretty funny. writing is one of your many talents. maybe you can write a book in your spare time after starting a catering business and ebaying your clothing creations. just a suggestion. i can be your assistant (wipe sam’s nose, change new baby–that’s pretty much my skill set-haha)……
